Watching Liverpool drew 1-1 with Birmingham shows how Liverpool badly miss Xabi Alonso. No one is able to fill his position and keep feeding the wingers and strikers. All is depending on Steven Gerard which is heavily marked and not in top form. As a Liverpool supporter, I am sad to say that I don't believe Liverpool will get 4th placing this year. They will probably make it top 6. If no money going to spend on this summer, Liverpool is doomed next season.

I Met A Malaysian That Is So "Not Malaysian"

In my recent trip to Argentina, I went to the southernmost city of the world, Ushuaia. While I was there, I went to the Penguin Island near El Harberton. During the tour, I saw a fine young Asian girl with a strong Australian accent.

Due to my Malaysian Hospitality nature, I approached her for a conversation. To my delight, she is a Malaysian born residing in Australia for years. Well, the conversation wasn't that interesting as it only went one way. Understanding her coldness, I walked away.

It is sad to see a Malaysian who lost her "essence". The friendliness and the manners are all gone. I don't really get people who migrated to overseas like Australia feel how superior they are. To me, they are just "homeless" people. There's no place like home, the place where you are born. If she's not proud to be a Malaysian, just don't even mention she's from Malaysia, coz she make us look cheap and ugly.

Life After Argentina

After a month plus absence in Malaysia due to my Argentina trip, I would say there's no place like home. In a n expedition like this, there are always thoughts of what am I going to do after the trip. Not also forgetting meeting up so many new friends during the expedition.

Live from Buenos Aires, Argentina!

This is going to be a short one. I reached Buenos Aires after a long flight from Kuala Lumpur. The whole journey took me around 26 hours inclusive of transit. I haven´t got time getting a local SIM card yet, rushing for dinner now. No jetlags but I got sick when I was on the plane. Let me share a few pictures I took while on my way here.

Waking up 5 am on the plane was worth it. Took this picture showing the sunrise at 30,000 feet above sea level. Priceless.

I might not be in Africa but looking over from the top was breathtaking enough.

Now only I understand why they keep saying Cape Town is a beauty.

Famous Roast Pork at Yut Kee Restaurant, Jalan Dang Wangi, Kuala Lumpur

It has been a while since we had a good Sunday breakfast. The last good one we had was in Seri Kembangan for dim sum. That was weeks ago. Yesterday morning, we decided to venture to a place that we haven't visited before.

The ever popular Yut Kee. Located at Jalan Dang Wangi, Yut Kee has been around for years. Established at 1928, the place now is a whopping 82 years old and they are still going on strong. The place itself is a pre-war building.

The interior is still the same as before. The characteristics of the place is still unchanged. Only now they have a LCD tv on the wall.

I like the way they preserved the place. For example, this antique safe. Godness, this was the first time I see something like this. Purely, antique!

Rachel ordered the "cham". "Cham" is also known as "ying yong" a mixture of coffee and tea. The hot cham is value at RM1.30 (US 40c). Rachel loved the fragrance of the coffee in this.

There was nothing better than a good Pork chop for breakfast. Priced at RM 9 (US 2.20), the pork chop was tender. Coated with egg, the pork chop was deep fried and covered with the gravy. With fried potatoes, beans and carrots, the pork chop was pretty "alright".

"Roti babi" or pork bread was priced at RM 7.50 (US 2). French toasted with fillings of a mixture of pork, onions and hints of crab meat. Rachel felt this was overpriced and there's nothing to shout about. She felt it was too heavy for breakfast.

Supposingly they only sell their famous roast pork from 11.30 am but we got lucky yesterday. They took it out early to sell. Gosh look at the roast pork!

Jun Jun Riko's Carlsberg Private Party with FHM GND Girls!

Yesterday, we were invited for a private party courtesy of Carlsberg with FHM Magazine's GND (Girls Next Door) by Jun Jun Riko. Riko won a Carlsberg contest earlier on to entitle her to invite 50 of her friends for this party. We were 2 of her 50 adored friends.

We reached Carlsberg Brewery at Shah Alam around 10pm. The crowd were already there and we didn't waste any time to mingle around with friends.

How do you know your friends love you?

They ask you to do a beer drinking contest. Nice friends right? Well, as you can see I can't really drink quick but I enjoyed the fun.

Like usual, the string of photo and camwhoring session will start at a party like this. Copykate, me, Hikaru and Jun Jun Riko.

Rachel enjoyed herself with her first Carlsberg of the night.

Before I go there, how do we usually book our airline tickets?

1. Call our beloved travel agents, not a good thing to do in office. Boss might be around and colleagues might back stab you! Using travel agents will cost more and have to wait longer as the travel agent need to check your schedule through their system.

2. Surf the internet and book online. When there's a MAS Everyday Low Fare sale, the whole world knows, even your boss! So its not a good idea! Furthermore not all offices have access to the internet.

Either way above, you need to proof of purchase and receipts upon checking in.

Christmas and New Year with Prince Hotel's Christmas Menu, KL

Firstly, Prince Hotel's popular Japanese Restaurant, Enju.

ENJU Japanese Restaurant: Christmas Eve Set Dinner - 24 December (RM120++/pax)

Kaki Oyster Cocktail was one to look for, for oyster lovers. The oysters were fresh! Rachel had a few of this, she loved it!

This gigantic Hokkaido crabs were air flown (fresh) from Hokkaido and well marinated to taste the freshness of the meat. This was lovely. The crab meat was very fresh and not to mention the crab was huge.

Let me give you the full details of the Enju Christmas Set
The ENJU Christmas Set Eve Dinner consists of:
Kaki oyster cocktail
Mizu gai sashimi
Awabi shiru
Nama tarabagani
Ise ebi age to inaniwa udon
Yashinomi mango pudding

After the Enju, we moved on to Tai Zi Heen. We started off with the Cold Appetizer Trio.

Then sinful raised pearl shark’s fin with crab meat and crab roe in superior broth. For those that against shark fins, you can skipped this. No offense, the dish came with a generous amount of shark fins and the broth was sweet. This was sinfully nice.

Sauteed diced beef tenderloin with leeks, crispy sliced garlic and honey peas in a Vietnamese rice paper basket was something unique. The diced beef tenderloin was tenderly cooked. Not forgeting the well presentation of this dish.

Braised sea cucumber with jade shell fish in sauteed baby cabbage will be suited for vegetable lovers.

Wok-fried glass noodles with prawns, grouper and squid

Tai Zi Heen's Xiu Long Bao was next. It was decent.

Dessert Trio will make sure you leave with a sweet taste in your mouth. I would say this was a good happy ending dish!

Last time I went to PC Fair is to buy computer or parts. So do many other people like me. However, after a few years of absence, I was at PC Fair today. Gosh, time has passed by so much or I'm getting so bloody old.

No offense to the people who is doing the Mix Fm morning show. Without Pietro and Serena C, the morning show sucks big time. I know what the hell is going on with Mix Fm and after weeks of it, I switched to other radio station. I enjoy Rudy, Ferhad and the rest doing the show but they keep changing the DJ.

I felt Mix Fm have no respect to listeners changing DJs like that.

I missed the great DJs of Mix Fm.... Richard Ng, Shaz, Pietro and Serena C.

Well, I believe I won't be the single person who is frustrated with Mix Fm now!

When I Forgot That I Am Fat

You don't tell me, I'm plum or things like that. I'm fat, very fat to be precise. Another word for this, its called obese. The word obese somehow sounds like shit. Either way, it never sounds good.

I was in Larut Hill or Maxwell Hill in Taiping last weekend. Equipped with DSLR, I started to walk around Larut Hill to take the best shots. Then, I thought I would like to jog back up the hill, I ran up. Without minutes, I was breathless. My client caught up with me, ask me what happened.

I told him, "I forgot that I'm fat! shit!"

After years being obese, I got so used to it. It would be a lie that I will not want to be slimmer. Yet, when my age caught up, losing weight is getting much tougher. But anyhow, I always forgot that I am fat.

I Took 7 Hours To Reach Kuala Lumpur From Taiping, Malaysia's Magnificent Traffic Jam

It has been years since I was stuck in a massive traffic jam. Probably 20 years ago, we took 7 hours to reach Singapore. Well, history repeated itself yesterday.

Yesterday, we took 7 hours from Taiping to reach Kuala Lumpur. It was unavoidable I had work and Rachel was racing in Taiping. We knew the jam was going to be bad, but not worst. After the event, we quickly exited Taiping onto a massive crawl. The massive crawl was caused by motorists queuing up into the rest area near Sungai Perak. Road lanes were bottleneck onto a single lane. What a great road planning! We jammed 3 hours just to realize it was because of a rest area!

Then the heavy traffic continued until Rawang.

My other team from Johor Bahru also took 7 hours to reach Kuala Lumpur.

Here's the thing. We paid full price for the toll. We paid a heavier price for the traffic jam. So should they charge us or we charge them back for our time?

Why I Never Discriminate Garbage Collectors Or DBKL

I give this a thought, did I ever discriminate a garbage collector before? Seriously, NEVER.

In fact, during my younger years, where I stayed in the low cost housing area, I used to chase them with my rubbish bags. Low cost houses are very small, there's no place for garbage bin so we need to wait for the garbage truck and chase them.

Every Chinese New Year, my parents would pack some oranges and some snacks for them with angpau. We appreciate their work.

Lately, I adopted a dog. His name is called Bosco. We got it from our friends. His pictures are HERE. We loved this fella, been naughty but been quite a good boy. My parents loved the dog very much and offered to bribe us to give away Bosco, we resisted!

However, as cute as he may be sometimes he likes to play with his shits. Regardless, he also shits at the designated newspaper area in the house.

So then, every morning and evening, my job is to pick up his shits. Clean his shits and clean up the floor.

YES, I'm the official Shit Collector of my house.

I do wonder that I had enough shits with my work and go back have to pick up shits of my dog, Bosco.

Even though I loved Bosco very much, still FML!

Why Some Bloggers Hate Me So Much!

It has been a while since I've been hated.

Well, some might say this is another one of those EMO post I'm writing. Trust me, this is not.

I spoke to a blogger lately that relayed something that I would like to explain it here carefully.

First thing first. I'm not famous and I'm no where near the popular bloggers.

I started blogging in 2007, mainly trying to earn money from Payperpost. Later on, it becomes a passion to blog instead of writing junks for money. However, passion turns to the hunger to get attention and traffic seeker.

I make no reservation that I do envy some of the top bloggers, but I do understand the time and effort they put in their blog, I am no where near. It takes a lot of effort to build a strong blog, it needs time as well. However, I did a lot of effort to speed up the process. I tried too hard.

Moving to food blog was unintentional. With the help for fellow foodies, I got many invites and met many new bloggers and friends. So then, when I got my first invite from a restaurant thru my blog, I got too excited and too proud. Sadly, I abused the invites into "kiasu-ness" that make some to hate me. For that, I would make a sincere apology to all of them.

The second thing is my character. I love to share my views with people. Some might think I am trying to show off, but that's my character. It mights sounds like a brag, but it wasn't really. Some might also think that I'm too loud. For people that knows me as a friend, I am like that. I hope you all understand that I mean no harm. For example, my blog traffic. I hope you all don't make it an issue. Thanks.

Thirdly, my transformers collections that many collectors hate me. One thing they don't understand is, how much time, money and efforts I put into my collection. It's a passion that I couldn't really can explain. They still can keep on hating me for, I still have the vintages. Don't hate me because I have it, just hate me because you don't have it! :P

Lastly, the cold war. This cold war could be understand by certain foodies. I did make myself very clear that I would be neutral in this situation. I don't really care even if any party didn't invite me for food reviews. I treat u all as friends. I really hope you all understand and respect my stand on this.

Anyways, I hope you all reading this is could either to hate me lesser or hate me more.

Really sorry for hurting my fellow blogger friends.

The Difference Between Journalists And Bloggers

I've been to numerous events. Either from work or invites for blogging, I've been to quite a number of it. I noticed a huge difference between journalists and bloggers.

During most events, when a journalist met another journalist, they will chat like buddies regardless which newspaper or magazine they represent. They could do it for hours, trust me, I've seen those.

HOWEVER, when a blogger met another blogger. All the colours came out.

If a regular blogger met a famous blogger (in most cases), the famous blogger shows the "superior" celebrity face. Trust me, the local celebrities also never carry such attitudes. Sometimes, it was if I owed them money.

If a regular blogger met a gang of bloggers, he or she usually will be ignored. This happened to me many times in events up to today. Say for instance, at the Catbit event, I was totally ignored even though they knew who I was. The feeling I got was like, "I think I should walk off, cause I'm totally ignored and not existed". If you got such feelings, this are common. Bloggers are like that, if you not agree, prove it!

Then, if a Nuffnang blogger met a Adverlet blogger, they just say hi and walk off. No sportsmanship. I've seen many.

And if a food blogger like me meet lifestyle bloggers, they will sometimes still take picture with me. But never will post it in their blog. We food bloggers not blogger? Or I'm too fat and ugly to be posted?

Bloggers dear bloggers, why are we so much difference than the journalists? Are we really so stuck up because our pride as bloggers? Think again!

My first encounter with blog name card was thru a friend who is a food blogger which started 4-5 years ago. I didn't take it seriously as his ego is bigger than his ass.

I started blogging since 2007 but I only take it seriously since last year, 2008. When I shifted my attention to food blogging, I encountered a lot of food bloggers who were giving away blog name cards. From there, I was taught about professionalism and respect.

We, bloggers are not just a bunch of people talking craps on our blogs. We should be respected for the time and effort we spent on the blog. Even though you or you or you might not like my blog, but I will still go on blogging.

So how should I be taken seriously with respect? How would the person know you are reliable? How would a person remember your blog url or your email address? And most important of all, how would I brand myself?

A Blog Name Card.

It doesn't need to be fancy or pricey. For your info, I print my own cards with quality papers. Remember, not all the people you meet are bloggers.

When I Disappointed My Dad Thru My Blog

It seems to be my dad is very proud of my blog (PlacesAndFoods.com). He has been bragging it to his friends. Mainly because I got the free Bangkok food trip and also won a LCD TV lately. Unluckily, one of his so called "friend" complained about my grammars in my blog. So then, he asked my mom to call me to tell about my grammar mistakes. I told them I knew and they said why did u edit? I told them my English no good.

Well, I think now they must been thinking how the heck I got my A2 in SPM and how did I manage to get my degree from Australia.

Seriously, I dunno.

One thing for sure, I will ask Rachel to scan through first before I post.

Some Prominent Bloggers Are Bloody Liars

Seriously!

I asked a few bloggers and also prominent foodies about their daily visitor stats. They told me they had around 800 - 1k unique visitors per day. At first, I believed them. Later on, I did a check on them, they didn't even reach 300!

When I confronted them, they told me this and that.

Some would say they used to have such readers. That's past tense mate. Well, in the past I weighed 75 kg now I'm freaking 95kg. Can I say I'm 75kg now? Hell no!

I find this people are so pathetic.

Some don't even dare to put up stats on their blog.

Beware of certain prominent bloggers and foodies. Don't be fooled by them. They are just freaking bloody liars!

When the news Wern Shen beated Nuffnang's 3 of 4 Heavenly Kings, Cheesie, Huai Bin and Ky, there were lots of gossips spreading the Malaysia's bloggersphere. Who the heck is Wern Shen?

Wern Shen is an editor or the person in charge of Lowyat.net. I know him a certain time back, he's a friend of my sis. Knowing he's a famous celebrity blogger now, should have got his signature back then.

Nobody knows what happened, but one thing for sure, he beaten the likes of KY Speaks, Cheesie and Huai Bin. Add 3 of them together, they have more than 10k readers per day and Wern Shen was hardly known (no offense, Wern Shen). For a outsider to win, it really means a lot to him. And the weird thing is, how could they lost?

Well, this is to clear the damn air.

A few weeks ago, I had this food review. This popular blogger told the rest, I always ask "nang for innit" from him. I was like wtf?

Seriously? Did I do that? Answer is probably once a week compared to him like freaking daily msn buzz. Look, my PlacesAndFoods.com has a decent hit of 400 unique visitors regardless, compare to him of averaging 200++ inclusive daily nang request and his top 10 innit posts.

Seriously, stop talking shits about me and get a life or a girlfriend or something. You can camwhore with the young underage kids you want, beware of the "rotan".

I spoke to other male bloggers and it seems to be, no one likes him. I really pity him, get a life!

Superwilson.net Is Still Alive

I don't really care much if you read this blog anymore. It would be my place to rant random stuffs from today onwards.

It has been a while since I update here. Reason being is I was spending a lot of time trying to push my main blog, PlacesAndFoods.com further. I had been doing lots of PR work for it. Hopefully, more editorial will be coming soon, in the next few weeks.

I took off Nuffnang ads for this blog. I guess its unfair to put their ads here while I haven't been updating it much.

Many that knows me personally, know that I'm a big Liverpool fan. The recent slump is a foreseeable thing once Alonso left Anfield. Sad, I would say but he shouldn't shoulder the blame for this season's weak run. Jamie Carragher has lost its magic at the back while there's a big hole in the midfield. It's either Benitez will shop during January or the title will be as good as over.

The Ugly Truth Review

I went to watch this movie without reading any synopsis or so and I'm not a big fan of both actors, Katherine Heigl and Gerald Butler.

The movie started well as Katherine having hard time producing a good TV show and finding herself a boyfriend. While Gerald was employed to boost the ratings for her. Kat found herself a dream boyfriend and with the help of Gerald, would it succeed? As things goes on, they became good business partners.

Despite the heavily bad critics, me and Rachel loved this movie. Though certain scenes were predictable, the bad mouth Gerald was entertaining.

There were a few particular scenes really got the cinema blown off the roof. It was a really enjoyable movie.

My Younger Brother, Ng Chun Seong Featured in Klue Magazine's 20 Under 40 (September '09)

My Younger Brother, Ng Chun Seong Featured in Klue Magazine's 20 Under 40 (September '09). Many might be asking who is he? Where he comes from? Knowing the rest of the entries are heavy weights such as KRU, Amir Muhammad, Chris Chong, Bunkface and personal friend Joon Han and Adly, my younger brother worked hard for his dreams.

8 years ago, my younger brother shocked the family saying he wanted to learn graphic design. During our childhood years, he showed no natural talent in drawing or painting but he told us that he will work hard to learn it. So then he went to One Academy and graduated there. From zero to hero, he mastered his skills in design and his works were getting better and better. From there, he worked in a few months in a local 3D animation company before he decided to pursue his Master of Art in Animation at Savannah Art of College.

He moved to Los Angeles after his graduation to pursue his dreams as a 3D modeler. Getting a job was never been easier. There were a few 3D animation departments closed down at that time. For almost 4-6 months, he was jobless. He stayed at home improving his portfolio and he won a few awards for his work.

His patience awarded by a call from Hydraulx. They asked him to work as a 3D modeler for the graveyard shifts. He happily accepted the job. As it was so sudden, he had to drive more than an hour to go to work as he had no time to move. He got to know that more than 1000 applicants applied for his post. He considered himself lucky to land his job. We at home were very happy as his patience paid off.

He went on and involved in featured films such as AVPR, the Incredible Hulk and many more. My parents would go to the cinema and watched all his movies. We felt so proud to see his name credited. We also felt proud to tell our friends that my younger brother did part of the movie. His works not just limited to us, but to the rest of the world.

Nuffnang Vs. FoodBuzz

There's some issues in my Places And Foods blog (www.placesandfoods.com).

Foodbuzz lately has terminated my contract by stating that, it's either them or Nuffnang. I wrote them an email explaining my stand with Nuffnang.

My contract from FoodBuzz only runs from US viewers, so then I told them that Nuffnang runs in Asia only. Where's the conflict? They kept telling me to take off Nuffnang ads as rules are rules.

Well, I pledged my loyalty to Nuffnang, our own Malaysian company. Nuffnang has invited me to numerous events, movie passes and so on while Foodbuzz gave me nothing. Not to mention, I befriended and met number of Nuffnangers that visit my blog daily.

Now, I run full capacity with Nuffnang ads on my food blog.

We Are Spotted In Red Tomato, Malaysia's Free Chinese Newspaper

Yeah, we are spotted at the latest edition of Red Tomato, Malaysia's first free Chinese newspaper. It was our best wishes for the country for this year's Merdeka day (Independence Day).

Well, I didn't say something like ...."I believe in World Peace..." Nope, that's not me!

I quoted something like.... "I would hope 1Malaysia will be a reality one day rather than just singing the 1Malaysia song. I hope for a better future in Malaysia with race harmony. I would also like to introduce Malaysia through my lenses and my blog."

Rachel quoted something different though - "I hope for political stability as lately it has given our country a bad image. Furthermore, I also hope for a quicker economy recovery and higher standard of quality of living. Malaysians are migrating to other country due to high crime rates and the safety issues lately. I hope the government will make this country a safer place to stay.
Thus, I will also try to promote the our country's multi-racial culture to the world through my blog."

Rachel made a longer comment, didn't know she wanted so many things.

We wished the country could perform much better in economy, political stability and safety issues.

Home Sweet Home, We Are Back In Kuala Lumpur

Plane didn't get delay. Everything was smooth except the "smart" Air Asia counter fella who got us different seats when we checked in at Kuching airport. Well, we were "smarter" when we realized the mistake minutes before boarding.

I was hoping to hot chick to sit beside me since Rachel was sitting behind me. It didn't happen! I got some weird looking guy instead. Rachel got one irritating "uncle" who sat a row behind her who did all sorts of funny things behind; sneeze, blurp and probably fart.

Luckily, I managed to capture a few lovely Klang Valley night shots with my Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ15.

Today marked the first time I shared a stall in Amcorp Mall's Flea Market to clear off my toys for more space at home. Well, firstly thanks KC and Chris (below) for helping me.

I met a lot of toys collectors who were shocked to see me. After missing in action for months, it was really happy to meet them.

I didn't bring much toys to sell today. Today mainly trying to learn and survey what to sell. Will bring more next time around. My next round will be at September 6th. I will bring more vintage toys to sell.

Next weekend, I will be at Kuching for a short trip. It will be my first visit to Kuching, getting very excited about it.

District 9 Review

Thanks to Buena Vista for the premier tickets, sorry for the late review though.

I read the story a bit before I watched the movie, yet I thought it could be very cheesy. Well, I was so wrong.

Even without the heavy weight actors, this South African flick is one to watch.

Amazingly done with low budget with amazing CGI and Alien creatures, the movie creates a realism that involves with alien and human society. Not to mention great acting and good storyline. Some would find it too boring, well I thought it was quite well done.

There's quite a bit of scenes were censored but most of the important scenes are still there.

Story revolves about the aliens mostly refugees arrived at South Africa 30 years ago. Humans were nice enough to isolate them and gave them food. Yet, after 30 years, society problem arises. The story goes from there... Watch it!

This is a must watch movie!

Raikage caught white zetsu by his neck and asks him where Sasuke is.
Zetsu tells him 'It wouldn't hurt to give you a hint I guess~'
The second he says this his neck is broken with a loud sound, is he dead?
Mizukage goes 'Killing is off limits'
Everyone else is ordered to keep watching Hokage while others break through the wall to go look for Sasuke

Madara comes to where Naruto's sleeping and asks him if they could talk for a while but is attacked with rasengan in return
Kakashi and Yamato make appearance and seize Madara
'I just wanted to find out how you managed to change Nagato's beliefs so I only came here to talk' says Madara
Naruto tells him that it doesn't matter and asks where Sasuke is

Madara goes 'Fine, let's talk about Sasuke who had fallen into darkness and about this world of shinobi, permeated with hatred and revenge'
Without any hesitation Sasuke strikes down Samurais standing in his way who'd noticed the abnormality around them
Suigetsu looking at him and goes 'Why did you tell me not to kill, isn't that what you're doing now?'
Karin senses unusual 'darkness' and 'coldness' coming from Sasuke with her special ability
And then someone with insane amount of chakra appears

I was invited to Kalau Keju, Mest Kraft Media Launch on the 11th of August at Uptown Car Park. Like usual, I was there early and walking around taking pictures.

The location...

Well, actually its the official launch of "Roti Kraft" and "Burger Kraft". According to the Diether Shulz, General Manager of Kraft Malaysia, we Malaysians are incredibly creative with our foods, so "Roti Kraft" and "Burger Kraft" are great examples of that creativity. Roti Kraft is the combination of Kraft cheese with the usual roti canai while Burger Kraft is the additional of Kraft cheese with the usual Ramli burger.

The preparation of Burger Kraft. This guy owned a burger stall in Cheras, I promised him that I would try his burger one day.

Personally, I prefer Burger Kraft than Roti Kraft. Yet, such great innitiave by Kraft Malaysia means we could enjoy quality cheese from mamak and burger stalls. Kraft remained one of my family's top choices in terms of cheese.

We were also entertained with a sketch that was a combination of drama and musical. It was really good, never had something like this before. Good One!

Later on, they had some games for the media. To my surprise, I was the first to be called out. Playing against another 2 contestants, we were supposed to stack the burger with Kraft Cheese and try to finish it within 2 minutes.

Somehow, I managed to win it! I could really believe it! Even though it's just a digital camera, I was over the moon for it.

This was the second time and second year for Hennessy Artistry. It was my wife, Rachel's first time. Knowing the traffic, we went there early.

There will be an exciting event coming up this weekend. It's the Amazing Thailand Festival 2009 from 14th to 16th of August at Hall 1, Mid Valley Exhibition Centre (MVEC).

There will be cultural Thai shows as well as free Thai massages during the festival. For shoppers, there will be more than 30 participating booths during the 3 days event.

There will be also a slogan contest that offers 3 amazing free trips for 2 to Chiang Mai, Bangkok and Krabi.

Gifts from Los Angeles

My younger brother's fiancee just came back from Los Angeles recently. To our surprise, my young brother, Chun Seong bought us gifts again.

I felt really bad as I only got him a sweater while he bought so many things for us. At times, I felt that I didn't do enough as his older brother.

The gifts were nicely wrapped hinting, its more to his fiancee's work than his.

He really know what I loved.... My first Naruto T-shirt...

The movie that kept us arguing, the Tropic Thunder!!!

... and he bought Rachel a Coach bag. Rachel was over the moon. She was looking for a similar bag for sometime...

The gifts meant a lot to me, not because the value but the overall intention of it. I wish that I can come to LA soon.

They stopped that, and it is unknown what they are doing now (5th mizukage)
(It's the fault of the 4th mizukage... Here, the 5th reveals the 4th was likely manipulated by someone)
The sand tried to use Akatsuki to destroy Konoha (Gaara's father)
The hokage says they are sure talking a lot (Danzou's shutting up)
The Raikage gets angry at the others kage
Those that could control bijuus were Madara, the first Hokage, the fourth Mizukage, and Killer Bee.

The neutral country gives an idea:
How about an alliance of the five countries?
With the hokage, whose country still has the bijuu as supreme commander?

The Madness Week

Last week was a pretty madness week. It started on Wednesday night where I met Frat Mustard (which I'm gonna blog about it later), Whiff of Lemongrass, Babe in the City and Captain Hook, Fatboybakes and also Masak-Masak. We were doing a pubcrawl which started from TwentyOne.
On Thursday, Frat Mustard organized a food review session at PJ Hilton. It was very good. On Saturday, BigBoysOven organized a food review session at Wang Zi @ NZX, Damansara Ara. On Sunday, we attended an Amazing Bridal Fair @ Renaissance Hotel and also a Christian movie screening called "Fireproof" (a must watch movie!). I almost forgot that we went to Hennessy Artistry on Saturday night!

The Siemens 10km Run 2009

Last Sunday, I was given a number by a friend to run. It was for the Siemens 10km Run. I thought I would miss that run as I didn't manage to sign up on time.

Few things unexpectedly happened before the run. On Saturday, I went to Melaka for a half day food crawl and a friend's surprise party. I went back home around 1 am and I woke up on 6 am for the run. I was exhausted!

Luckily, we managed to reach on time for the run. The starting route was quite identical to KL City Day Run. I didn't manage to warm up so I started slow and easy. I walked for the first 3-4 km and later on I started to make short sprints. Rachel from beginning was already far ahead of me.

I'm quite used to walking and running alone. Normally, I would pick someone to chase. This time, a young couple. Every time, I ran across them I will slow down to walking pace and they would overtake me.

When reaching the last 3km, they thought I was far behind. They were so wrong, I was trailing them. I overtook them this time and they didn't have a chance to overtook me again.

I promised myself I would improve my time and I did. I did a 1 hour 40 min for 10 km. 2 minutes better than Standard Chartered Run. Rachel did a 1 hour 15 min, a big improvement from the previous run.

I haven't sign up for Adidas King of the Road yet. I'm not sure whether I will be running there as well. Still considering....

Me and my wife were shopping for perfume at Sasa over the weekend and I stumbled to something interesting. A breast enlargement cookies! Its called F Cup cookie! I was like what the heck? Got such things?

The lovely promoter told me its only works on ladies, I was like..... (since when I said I wanna use it?) Anyways I did read about this cookie on a few blogs lately. If you wondering how it looks like? See the picture below...

When My Wife Becomes A Distraction!

Well, this happened last week. We (me and wife) were looking for a parking space at The Gardens. We were there to try to grab last minute movie tickets for either Obsessed or Public Enemy with Steph and Khai. I found a lovely parking spot near the escalator. So then slowly, I reversed park my car.

Out of no where, wife Rachel said "Check out that chick", pointing the finger to a "fat" lady. I looked at the lady and BAMMED! My side mirror CRASHED to the pillar. My side mirror half way fell off. Rachel screaming "What have you DONE!!" I went down from the car and checked the side mirror. I managed to assembled it back. "PHEW...." No damages, if not I wouldn't know how much my Merc side mirror would cost me. Probably a huge chunk of my salary.

Husbandhood Lesson 101:

1. Focus on what you are doing when you are dricing even your wife asked to look away.
2. Don't blame the wife, as it will create a "tsunami"
3. Don't admit its your fault, as it will create an "aftershocks"
4. Just kept quiet as the "fly" will go away....

My Lurve Affair with My Life

Before I start about my Lurve affair.. let's talk about Lurve... Lurve is one of the snacks I preferred due to no trans-fat and its made of multigrain chips. Not to mention 3 lovely flavours to choose from; Seaweed Nori, Hot 'N Spicy and my favourite French Onion.

I had been in Lurve for the past few months....

Super Chic Sunday @ Mont Kiara

Last Sunday, I was at the Super Chic Sunday at Mount Kiara. As a loyal listener of Mix Fm, me and my wife were there to support the Serena C's Super Chic Sunday.

Well, of course Serena C didn't know me or my wife personally, but for the sake of charity, it worth the trip.

Many items were auctioned off at reasonable price. There were some performances by the artists as well.

Jolene, me and Rachel....

While watching the auction, Rachel got herself a nice white pants. It was Serena C's Island Shop white pants. She got it for RM 10 only. What a steal! (Though I asked Rachel to double check for "lubang" and stains). For those who were not there, you guys missed the bargain and the show.

At the end of the day, the event managed to raise RM 10,000! It was a huge and great effort!

Hisagi, breathing faintly, stares at Kensei.
Hirako says there are people from the gotei 13 he wanted greet after such a long time, but not everyone is there.
Lisa silently goes over to Kyouraku.

She steps on his head and asks how long he's going to pretend he's dead. Then she presses down with her foot.

Kyouraku tells her she's gotten pretty in the time he hasn't seen her. She kicks him away in disgust.
Kyouraku: "I'm glad your healthy!" "Fool!" "...Really..." (Seems like they're talking about the past?)
Hirako go to Yama-jii and asks if he's let go of his past grudge. To Aizen he says matters are different with him.
Hacchi creates a barrier room(?)

The 1st Division VC looks at it and finally goes in. At first he's hesitant, but then goes in to watch the progress of the battle.
Yama-jii asks if he can consider them allies.
"We are not your allies. We are Aizen's enemies. In truth, we're Ichigo's allies." He returns to the vizards.
WW screams and a large number of gillians come out of Superchunky's mouth.
The vizards all don their masks.
Rose's is like a bird. Love's is like a demon/ogre. Lisa's has a cross in it. Hacchi's is like Nel's fraccion with the big face.

OMG! I'm going to be a FATHER!

We were on the bed. Rachel then slowly moved over and whispered, "I'm pregnant....."

Words couldn't describe my emotions. But I could only say one thing, "Yay, no need to care about the wedding dinner!!" Don't get me wrong here, I loved the wedding dinner okay... seriously...

So then, I became nervous because I'm going to have a junior. I was not mentally prepared for such situation. Come on, few weeks ago I am married and now I'm told I'm going to be a father.

So then, as I want to ask Rachel for more questions there's some irritating noise coming out for nowhere.

Then, the place turned dark and it was in my room. I could hear Rachel snoring, IT WAS A DREAM. DAMN!

Maybe its one of thing a normal husband would dream. I told Rachel about the dream and she laughed it off. I told mom about the dream also and she did the same thing. Women are so predictable...

Radio live chat show - supposedly real !

This got the whole of Sydney laughing.
Read it and you'll see why !
Something like this may cause huge traffic jam !

Imagine sitting in traffic on your way to work and hearing this.
Many Sydney folks DID hear this on the FOX FM morning show in Sydney .

The DJs play a game where they award winners great prizes.
The game is called 'Mate Match'.
The DJs call someone at work and ask if they are married or seriously involved with someone.
If the contestant answers 'yes', he or she is then asked 3 random yet highly personal questions.

The person is also asked to divulge the name of their partner with (phone number) for verification.
If their partner answers those same three questions correctly, they both win the prize.

The Harbour City dropped to its knees with laughter and is possibly the funniest thing you've heard yet.

Anyway, here's how it all went down:

DJ: 'Hey ! This is Ed on FOX-FM. Have you ever heard of 'Mate Match' ?'

Contestant: (laughing) 'Yes, I have.'

DJ: 'Great! Then you know we're giving away a trip to the Gold Coast if you win.What is your name ? First only please.'

Contestant: 'Brian.'

DJ: 'Brian, are you married or what ?'

Brian: (laughing nervously) 'Yes, I am married.'

DJ: 'Thank you. Now, what is your wife's name ? First only please.'

Brian: 'Sarah.'

DJ: 'Is Sara at work, Brian ?'

Brian: 'She is gonna kill me.'

DJ: 'Stay with me here, Brian ! Is she at work ?'

Brian: (laughing) 'Yes, she's at work.'

DJ: 'Okay, first question - when was the last time you had sex ?'

Brian: 'About 8 o'clock this morning.'

DJ: 'Atta boy, Brian.'

Brian: (laughing sheepishly) 'Well...'

DJ: 'Question #2 - How long did it last ?'

Brian: 'About 10 minutes.'

DJ: 'Wow ! You really want that trip, huh ? No one would ever have said that if a trip wasn't at stake.'

Brian: 'Yeah, that trip sure would be nice.'

DJ: 'Okay. Final question. Where did you have sex at 8 o'clock this morning ?

Brian: (laughing hard) 'I, ummm, I, well...'

DJ: 'This sounds good, Brian. Where was it at ?'

Brian: 'Not that it was all that great, but her mum is staying with us for couple of weeks...'

DJ: 'Uh huh...'

Brian: '...and the Mother-In-Law was in the shower at the time.'

DJ: 'Atta boy, Brian.'

Brian: 'On the kitchen table.'

DJ: 'Not that great ?? That is more adventure than the previous hundred times I've done it. Okay folks, I will put Brian on hold, get his wife's work number and call her up.

You listen to this.' [ 3 minutes of commercials follow. ]

DJ: 'Okay audience; let's call Sarah, shall we ?' (Touch tones.....ringing. ...)

Clerk: 'Kinkos.'

DJ: 'Hey, is Sarah around there somewhere ?'

Clerk: 'This is she.'

DJ: 'Sarah, this is Ed with FOX-FM. We are live on the air right now and I've been talking with Brian for a couple of hours now.'

Sarah: (laughing) 'A couple of hours ?'

DJ: 'Well, a while now. He is on the line with us. Brian knows not to give any answers away or you'll lose. Sooooooo... do you know the rules of 'Mate Match' ?'

Sarah: 'No.'

DJ: 'Good!'

Brian: (laughing)

Sarah: (laughing) 'Brian, what the hell are you up to ?'

Brian: (laughing) 'Just answer his questions honestly, okay ? Be completely honest.'

DJ: 'Yeah yeah yeah. Sure. Now, I will ask you 3 questions, Sarah. If your answers match Brian's answers, then the both of you will be off to the Gold Coast for 5 days on us.

Sarah: (laughing) 'Yes.'

DJ: 'Alright. When did you last have sex, Sarah ?'

Sarah: 'Oh God, Brian....uh, this morning before Brian went to work.'

DJ: 'What time ?'

Sarah: 'Around 8 this morning.'

DJ: 'Very good. Next question. How long did it last?'

Sarah: '12, 15 minutes maybe.'

DJ: 'Hmmmm. That's close enough. I am sure she is trying to protect his manhood. We've got one last question, Sarah. You are one question away from a trip to the Gold Coast. Are you ready ?'

Sarah: (laughing) 'Yes.'

DJ: 'Where did you have it ?'

Sarah: 'OH MY GOD, BRIAN !! You didn't tell them that did you ?'

Brian: 'Just tell him, honey.'

DJ: 'What is bothering you so much, Sarah ?'

Sarah: 'Well....'

DJ: 'Come on Sarah.....where did you have it ?'

Sarah: 'Up the arse.....'

They had to call an ambulance for the DJ he thought he was going to have a heart attack , he could not stop laughing.

Apparently there was an unusually high call out of the Sydney Police just after this conversation , for minor traffic collisions.

Ice Age 3 Movie Review

I hardly remember part one and I missed part 2. Going for part 3 was just for the laughs as there's not much comedy movies in cinema this week.

It was my first visit to GSC Tropicana City. Well, it was almost perfect until a rude GSC personnel (Malay guy) spoil everything. We were asking the fella whether we can wait for the released time for uncollected tickets at the side. He said its against the rules and asked us to queue again. This was ridiculous! Then, he said, go back and queue and try your luck. We were so pissed off. We ignored him and waited at the side until the time comes. A young Chinese GSC personnel then welcomed us with big smile and the right attitude. I'm not so sure where the other guy's training came from but it will give a bad name to GSC Tropicana City.

Back to the movie. The movie started slow, with Mannie and Ellie expecting their first baby and how the rest revolves with it. Sid got too emotional and accidentally found a few T-Rex eggs. Sid wanted bad being a parent, took care of the baby T-Rex. Things went wild when mom T-Rex took back the babies back together with Sid. The team then went to another world that they never knew exist. The rest, you have to watch it...

Personally, I enjoyed the movie. Not much of the storyline, just plain comedy movie. I do loved the new character, Buck. He's hilarious. Expect laughs and silliness of some part of the movie.

It's a nice popcorn movie for the family. Recommendable!

A Week As A Husband

Without realizing anything, a week has passed. And I've been a husband for a week.

House still in chaos. Lots of things need to clean up. To be exact, its my 5 years mess.

I broke my cupboard sliding door the other day, making my cupboard half naked. Luckily, I just found a furniture hardware shop, going there next week to find my furniture parts to fix the door.

Me and Rachel had a long discussion about my toys collections and my DVD collections. Its taking too much space in the house. Well, she has been very patient with me on my collections. By hook or crook, everything should be done by this weekend.

We used our newly bought washing machine for the first time few days ago. My family maid probably having a celebration right now as I'm washing my own clothes. I still need to learn to iron my clothes... er..hem... Rachel asked me who did the ironing when I was working part time in Versace when I was younger? I told her, my lovely supervisors.

It has been a fantastic week other than doing the house chores. I felt that we had been doing so far okay. So far, 1 week as a husband....

Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2009

Its my 4th run of the year. Even though I'm not getting really good timing but I do still enjoy them.

Went there early this time around. Reached there around 6.15 am, got myself a good parking spot. We were basically stretching around and warmed up a bit before the run. Huge crowd for 10km run, thousands! Love big huge crowd turnouts.

Then, we saw Spiderman and took a picture with him.

Started well, ran quite far until I stop and sprint again... Saw Celine and Evo somewhere, queuing for loo..

Reaching Jalan Duta... By the time of 5km, many started to walk... I got a slight pain on my tummy, so I started to slow down...

Reaching finishing line... OMG! Can you see the mom with the baby...

Finished the race 1h 43 min. My personal best time ever... I could do better next time around!

Rachel did 1hr 20 min, her best time as well...

Bumped to lots of friends in this marathon. Jason of Smashpop.net, Kennysia, Celine, Evo and my high school friends.

Can't wait for the next run!

ROM (Registration of Marriage) @ JPN, Putrajaya

Been busy for the past few weeks only for a reason, my ROM (Registration of Marriage) on Monday. We've been busy custom making our wedding rings, getting things ready for Rachel to move in and also to make sure everything in order for ROM.

Thanks to my new business partner Dev, I got my fantastic wedding pictures shot in Putrajaya.

This picture is taken at JPN @ Putrajaya. Our efforts to register at Putrajaya paid off with many fantastic pictures.

It was a very nervous day for me. I want to make sure everything went smoothly. Well, I guess it happened to everyone.

We would like to thank to our friends that came for our ROM. We really appreciate their sincerity and their efforts. Some of them took leave just to come over for our ROM.

We would also like to thank the messages from SMS, MSN and Facebook. Sorry for leaving some of our friends out. There were already more than 20 guests in our ROM. We will make sure everyone to be invited to our wedding dinner. That will be a coming soon story.
